Lappeenranta, Finland (December 14th, 2021) –Jukka-Pekka Mäkinen, BA (Electrical Engineering and Automation), was appointed as a Business Advisor and member of the Board of SpinDrive. For the past 16 years, Mäkinen served as CEO of The Switch and member of Board of Directors for The Switch/Yaskawa Europe, a position from which he retired in June 2020. Mäkinen has held key positions in various major companies, such as ABB and Vacon.

As active magnetic bearings (AMB) can be applied to a wide variety of applications, SpinDrive has great potential,” says Mäkinen.
